3rd Shift Associate - Warehouse

JOB SUMMARY: The 3rd Shift Associate is responsible for retrieving accurate product and quantities for appropriate orders. Once pulled the associate is responsible for loading products into assigned trucks, ensuring products are secured, while handling product safely and maintaining a clean work area.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities listed are fundamental to the position and must be performed successfully to achieve the key performance objectives of the role.  Other responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Retrieves and reviews daily sales orders; locates and pulls orders for delivery
  • Manages Pick Tickets: reviews cooler slot positions, checks and counts products
  • Secures pallets by wrapping with stretch film wrap
  • Appropriately labels and stacks product in assigned trucks
  • Places and seals safety bands on the latches of outgoing delivery trucks. Check & record pre-load temperatures (truck box)
  • Ensures work areas are clean and orderly: empties skids, levels off and sweeps, empties trash in dumpsters

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent will continuously be required to walk, stoop, lift 10-35 lbs., push 200 lbs. 40 feet, repeatedly bend, twist at the waist while rotating, perform repetitive movements, and twist and bend wrists.  The incumbent will continuously be required to stand, pull 200 lbs. & lift 35-50 lbs. Will be required to perform repetitive movements with fingers and to occasionally climb ladders.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Interpret and carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
  • Ability to picking tickets and reports
